Over the last decade, Bureau Veritas has emerged as a strong force to reckon with in the field of education and training in the subcontinent. Since the year 1999, The Bureau Veritas expertise on the Management System standards had been disseminated well towards thousands of managers who had attended training courses provided by the organization.
Starting in a modest way in the year 1999 with eighteen courses, BV conducted about 400 courses in the year 2008. In these years, over forty thousand participants had benefited from these courses in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The training courses span many management system standards. Besides the popular ISO 9001:2008 standard, there are many other internationally recognized standards: ISO 14001 standard ( for environment ), OHSAS 18001 ( Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems ) . There are training courses on the other international standards as well : those related to Information Security (ISO 27001) and food safety ( ISO 22000 ). The courses are held across the vast expanses of India in all main cities and other important centers.
In the year 2008, Bureau Veritas conducted over one-hundred-and-thirty prestigious courses that are ‘registered’ with the International Registrar for Certificated Auditors (IRCA). This record is perhaps unmatched by any other course provider in the country..
A large pool of fifty-odd certified trainers make the programmes a rewarding experience for the participants, and there is constant experience sharing amongst the trainers so that the value addition to the participants is ever- increasing.
Thanks to the concerted efforts to transfer expert knowledge, BV in India today is known as a force to reckon with in the fields of management system education and training.
