EU Toy Safety Directive Technical Documentation Requirements
The new Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC requires the manufacturer of the toy to draw up a technical file, which must be retained for at least 10 years after the toy has been placed on the market. The documentation must include relevant data to show how the toy complies with the essential safety requirements. This white paper provides on overview of those technical documentation requirements.
