CERTIFICATION OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE - OC-ECM
Bureau Veritas is recognized by the Ministry of Transport as a Certification Body for entities responsible for maintenance - ECM.

A key factor in the transport sector is maintenance. It must be carried out always ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency and quality.
The certification of the subjects responsible for maintenance (ECM) guarantees that these principles are respected and allows common management and evaluation parameters of the subjects operating in the territory of the European community.
SOLUTION
ECM Certification Body – OC-ECM
The certification allows the conformity of the management system of the subjects responsible for maintenance to be assessed.
Bureau Veritas is recognized by the Ministry of Transport as a Certification Body for the purposes of certifying the subjects responsible for maintenance or certifying the subject or organization that performs the maintenance functions, referred to in Article 14, paragraph 3, letters b) , c) or d), of Directive (EU) 2016/798, under art. 6 of Reg. (EU) n. 779/2019 for both wagons and vehicles other than wagons (ECM Certification Body - OC-ECM).
Bureau Veritas Italia is also qualified to operate as a certification body (Certification body - OC) of the subjects responsible for the maintenance of freight railway wagons, by EU Regulation no. 445/2011, as well as as an Attestation Body - OA of the subjects responsible for the maintenance (ECM) of vehicles other than railway freight wagons (as per the ANSF Guidelines rev.01 of 16 October 2015) and of maintenance workshops for vehicles other than railway wagons (as per the ANSF Guidelines rev. 01 of 19 December 2017).
Bureau Veritas Italia offers competence and flexibility in the evaluation of ECM with a single site or multiple sites in the national and international territory.
