CDM: The Kyoto Protocol of 1997 formalized an international commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and the Joint Implementation (JI) procedures were developed by the United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

VCS: Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program is one of the most widely used greenhouse gas (GHG) crediting programs managed by VERRA.  

GS: Gold Standard is a certification for carbon offset projects that reduce Green House Gases (GHG) which was established by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other international NGOs.

GCC: Global Carbon Council is a voluntary carbon offset program managed by Gulf Organisation  for Research and Development (GORD).

What do validation and verification services cover? 

Our service for validation includes publication of PDD for GSC (for CDM - CCS Scheme specific), conduct Validation process of assessing Baseline, Additionality (if applicable), Monitoring Plan, addressing Global Stakeholder Comments, if any (for CDM), etc.  Our VVB Services varies based on CCS Schemes (CDM/VCS/GS/GCC)  requirement.

For Verification, Publishing of Monitoring report (for CDM), Assessing of monitoring plan, Emission Reduction calculation, overall compliance with the registered PDD/PD/PSF.
