BUREAU VERITAS LISTED A 2024 DIVERSITY LEADER BY THE FINANCIAL TIMES

Dec. 11 2023

For the fifth year in a row, Bureau Veritas is ranked in the Financial Times Diversity Leaders list.

With circa 84,000 employees working in 140 different countries, BV’s workforce is our most valuable asset. Diversity, along with equity & inclusion are an integral part of our culture at Bureau Veritas and critical for our long-term growth. A diverse workforce is needed to optimize the value we create and reflect the diversity of our communities, equity is required to ensure that we meet our diversity targets and inclusion is necessary so that our workforce can thrive.

Being committed to offering an inclusive culture with a diverse workforce, we endeavor to Shape a Better Workplace. As continuous learners, we are committed to improve ourselves to become an inclusive employer role-model for industry.

In partnership with Statista R, the Financial Times has identified the European companies which have achieved a diverse and inclusive workplace. The ranking is based on independent surveys in 16 countries across Europe. Survey participants were asked to evaluate their own employer’s diversity and inclusion practices and to give their perception of those adopted by others in their respective industries. The 850 companies receiving the highest total scores made the final list of Diversity Leaders.

This year, new objective indicators have been added to the analysis — to bring the results even closer to the reality experienced by employees: the share of women in management positions and the communications made in favour of diversity.
