BV Assurance team presented the first Certification on Sattvik Food for the Shri Ramayana Express

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) launched the Shri Ramayana yatra-Madhurai train to boost religious tourism and meet the requirements of tourists from south India.

Bureau Veritas South Asia Region gave the first certification on Sattvik Food to the Shri Ramayana Express. The certificate was presented to the CMD of IRCTC at Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi. The Ramayana Express, a luxury train is a 17 day round trip journey covering a number of important locations linked to the epic Ramayana. The train was assessed for implementation of the Sattvik Certification Scheme in the pantry and dining hall and for general hygiene.
